Since our school was founded in 1922, the Westphalian Riding- and Driving School in Münster has trained horses and riders at different levels, always according to the principles of classical riding.
With us, you can train to become a professional Master Rider (“Pferdewirtschaftsmeister”) or amateur trainer, you can receive further education around the subject “horse” in various courses and clinics, and you can obtain all German Performance Medals as well as supplementary qualification to upgrade your equestrian education – in all classical equestrian disciplines:
Dressage, show-jumping, eventing and recreational riding.
Beginner riders – children and adults alike – will find their four-legged schoolmaster, an equine teacher on whom they can learn the ABC of riding. Our teaching content is based on the Principles of Riding, published by the German Equestrian Federation (FN). These Principles teach the obligatory fundamental knowledge for all areas of the equestrian sport and the maintenance and management of horses.
The Principles of Riding and the German Equestrian Education Regulations (“Ausbildungsprüfungsordnung”, APO) are the framework for a consistent riding and training system that is unsurpassed worldwide.
